Instructions - Opening an eSEYpurse account with Seylan Bank

Seylan Bank official website (www.eseylan.com) carries a link for customers to sign-up online for new eSEYpurse accounts.

Online registration requires customer information to be submitted to the bank via Internet. Submit all required information and remember the User ID, Login Password and the Transaction Password for future use.

On successful registration online customers can login to eSEYpurse account.

To add your Seylan Bank accounts to your eSEYpurse, you need to download and print the application form available on the website. Fill up the required details and submit the application to Your Seylan Bank branch for authentication

Seylan Bank E-Commerce division will inform the eSEYpurse users, once accounts are added for login.

Benifits of using eSEYpurse by Current and Savings account holders of Seylan Bank

Making Payments over the Internet by directly debiting your Seylan Bank Account (prior registration for a eSEYpurse account to debit your Seylan Bank account(s) is necessary).

Customers will first browse through the registered Internet merchants of eSEYbuy and select the goods/ services they wish to buy/ pay (e.g. buying a television set from a electronics good seller or paying the monthly bill of your mobile phone).

Merchant’s page will show the total amount payable by the customer inclusive of taxes, delivery charges etc.

When the customer selects the payment option on their payment page/invoice, eSEYbuy payment pages will appear in the same web browser, over a secure internet connection. From their onwards Seylan Bank Payment Gateway will take over the processing.

Customer needs to first select eSEYpurse payment option and then login to his/ her eSEYpurse by entering the user ID and password.

Select the Seylan Bank account number you wish to debit to make the payment and eSEYpurse will then prompt you to enter your Transaction Password. If correct, eSEYbuy will then process your account data and display the result of the transaction (success or failure).
