Seylan Current Account is a current account facility carrying the speedy cheque clearing system. Seylan Bank cheques deposited to Seylan Bank Accounts – Credit will be given the same day. Other Bank cheques deposited to Seylan Bank Accounts before 2.30 pm - Credit will be given on the next working day by 4.00 pm. It's very simple to open and operate a Seylan Bank Current Account. Just walk in to your nearest Seylan Bank branch and speak to the Manager/Assistant Manager who will provide you with a simplified Current Account opening form with hassle free documentation. You will then be required to obtain a reference from another Seylan Bank Current Account holder or staff member known to you and on instruction, place deposit of Rs. 10,000/- to open a personal current account or Rs 20,000 for a business account.
